- Patient assessment: Conduct patient assessments to identify needs and develop care plans.
- Medical care: Administer medications, perform technical procedures (like injections or wound care), and monitor patient conditions.
- Monitoring: Monitor vital signs, document symptoms, and record medical information accurately.
- Health education: Provide information and education to patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Team collaboration: Work with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Record keeping: Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date patient health records.
- Emergency care: Assist in emergency medical procedures and respond to patient needs.
- Ward management: Ensure a clean, safe, and well-equipped patient area, and manage supplies.
