Katie’s Babysitting LLC is Hiring!!

Katie’s Babysitting LLC is seeking a nurturing, reliable, and genuinely passionate caregiver to provide occasional, as needed childcare services for families. This role involves traveling to clients’ homes to provide in home babysitting. Care is not provided in the caregiver’s home.

This position is best suited for someone who truly loves working with children and understands the importance of being a calm, patient, and emotionally present caregiver. This is not a role for someone simply looking for casual work. I am looking for someone who feels called to care for children and takes pride in creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment.

This role requires accepting babysitting opportunities as they arise. Schedules will vary depending on client needs and may include evenings and weekends. You are not required to accept every request, and this does not need to be your only commitment.

The goal is to officially hire by June 1 or July 1, 2026. At this time, my focus is on building a strong working relationship with the right person so expectations, communication, and values are aligned before starting. I may hire up to two caregivers. Each job offers different pay, with rates based on experience, reliability, and overall fit.

Responsibilities include

• Traveling to clients’ homes within a 50 mile radius of Jarrell, Texas
• Providing attentive, hands on childcare in a variety of home environments
• Engaging children in age appropriate activities that support learning through play
• Following parent instructions, routines, and household expectations with care and respect
• Creating a nurturing environment through patience, kindness, and emotional awareness
• Using positive redirection and gentle guidance at all times
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized space
• Communicating clearly, respectfully, and professionally with families
• Paying close attention to food restrictions, allergies, and dietary needs

For distances beyond 30 miles, additional compensation will be provided.

This role is for someone who views childcare as a meaningful responsibility. Children must always be spoken to with kindness, respect, and understanding. The right caregiver will naturally lead with empathy, stay present in each moment, and treat every child as if they were their own.
