This close-knit family of five has made their home on seven beautiful acres in Thompson's Station, and their daily life reflects exactly who they are: people who love cooking together, gardening, making art, playing games, exploring the outdoors, and simply being present with one another. Mom is home while Dad’s work often takes him away from home for stretches of a few months at a time.

G8 is a spirited, nature-loving girl who spends her free time hunting for crystals and gemstones, reading graphic novels, and diving into anything creative or scientific. B3 is a happily chaotic threenager who is most at home covered in dirt with a fleet of toy trucks nearby. Then there is G8mo, the clear heart of this role: a genuinely content and curious baby who is crawling, eating well, and soaking up every new experience. She naps twice daily and benefits from a caregiver who understands infant sleep rhythms, wake windows, and warm, confident nap support.

A six-year-old Cane Corso completes the household. He is a gentle giant who is wonderful with the children and will ring his own doorbell when he is ready to go outside. Horses and chickens are joining the property soon, making this a truly one-of-a-kind home environment.

POSITION DETAILS

Start Date: July 1, 2026

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (30 guaranteed hours per week). Schedule may flex slightly with appropriate advance notice, and hours may increase seasonally when additional support is needed. Occasional weekend date night coverage is also possible.

Compensation: $31-$35/hour

THE ROLE

This position centers on G8mo's daily rhythm while keeping a warm, capable presence available across the full household. Your mornings begin at 9:00 AM, stepping in to support the baby as Mom returns from school drop-off. From there, the day moves between nap support, age-appropriate play, learning activities, and a second nap before you wrap at 3:00 PM. Strong nap instincts are vital here: G8mo is still developing her sleep rhythm, and your ability to read wake windows, settle her confidently, and offer contact nap support when needed will make a meaningful difference to this family's day.

During nap windows, you will keep children's spaces tidy, handle child-related laundry, and assist with light meal prep on rotation. When the older children are home during summers, school breaks, or seasonal schedule shifts, you will flex naturally to support all three. Mom is present throughout the day but trusts you to hold things down independently. This is a role for someone who sees a need and takes care of it without being asked.

Since Dad’s work schedule involves some stretches of being away from home for extended periods, you may be asked to stay later into the evening in those seasons. When the older two children are in extracurricular activities, the schedule may shift to allow supervision for the baby as Mom goes to pick them up. Flexibility is key for this active family.

• You have the experience to support B3’s ongoing potty training journey
• You are comfortable and confident caring for a creative eight-year-old, a strong-willed toddler, and a newly-mobile baby all at once

ESSENTIALS

• Minimum 3 years professional nanny experience, with recent infant experience required
• Demonstrated experience with infant sleep support and nap routines
• Valid driver's license and sparkling clean driving record
• CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain prior to start)
• Comfortable with large dogs in the home
• Experience with monitoring young children in and around the swimming pool
• Non-smoker/non-vaper
• Clean background check
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Minimum six-month commitment
