Nurturing Preschool Educator

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This role involves planning engaging activities, managing classroom behavior, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth. The expected working hours are 9am-2pm, every Monday through Friday.

Duties

• Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
• Provide individualized attention to students, including those with disabilities, ensuring all children feel included and supported.
• Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment that encourages creativity and learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Conduct assessments to monitor student development and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
• Provide first aid when necessary and maintain health and safety standards in the classroom.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay current with educational practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience in preschool education or a related field is preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain a conducive learning atmosphere.
• Experience working with students with disabilities is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of behavior management techniques to support diverse learners.
• First aid certification is a plus.
• Experience in toddler care or caregiving roles is beneficial.
• Ability to educate young children through creative activities, fostering curiosity and a love for learning.
• Previous experience in nannying or similar roles will be considered an asset.

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
