About the Role

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR support with a strong focus on employee relations, HR guidance, and policy interpretation.


This role acts as a front-line HR resource, partnering closely with managers and employees to address workplace matters, provide coaching, and support a positive and consistent employee experience across a growing, multi-state organization.


The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, handling day-to-day employee relations matters independently, and escalating more complex issues as needed.


What You’ll Do

  • Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR processes
  • Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, coaching, and workplace issues
  • Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely, professional, and consistent manner
  • Support employee relations documentation and assist with workplace reviews or investigations as needed
  • Provide guidance on leave programs and employee accommodations in partnership with HR leadership
  • Support benefits-related questions, enrollment changes, and employee education
  • Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Support HR audits and ensure data accuracy within HR systems
  • Provide back-up support for onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Partner cross-functionally with recruiting, payroll, and leadership teams to support the employee lifecycle


What We’re Looking For

  • 4–6 years of HR experience in a generalist or HR support role
  • Experience supporting employee relations matters and advising managers
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site or multi-state environment
  • Working knowledge of HR policies, employment law fundamentals, and best practices
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities


Preferred Experience

  • Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or long-term care environments
  • Familiarity with Paycom HRIS platform
  • Experience supporting benefits administration and leave processes
