About the Role
We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to serve as a key point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR support with a strong focus on employee relations, HR guidance, and policy interpretation.
This role acts as a front-line HR resource, partnering closely with managers and employees to address workplace matters, provide coaching, and support a positive and consistent employee experience across a growing, multi-state organization.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, handling day-to-day employee relations matters independently, and escalating more complex issues as needed.
What You’ll Do

Serve as a primary HR contact for employee questions related to policies, benefits, and HR processes

Partner with managers to provide guidance on employee relations matters, including performance concerns, coaching, and workplace issues

Address and resolve employee concerns in a timely, professional, and consistent manner

Support employee relations documentation and assist with workplace reviews or investigations as needed

Provide guidance on leave programs and employee accommodations in partnership with HR leadership

Support benefits-related questions, enrollment changes, and employee education

Ensure consistent application of company policies and employment practices

Maintain accurate HR documentation and support compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

Support HR audits and ensure data accuracy within HR systems

Provide back-up support for onboarding and offboarding processes

Partner cross-functionally with recruiting, payroll, and leadership teams to support the employee lifecycle
What We’re Looking For

4–6 years of HR experience in a generalist or HR support role

Experience supporting employee relations matters and advising managers

Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-site or multi-state environment

Working knowledge of HR policies, employment law fundamentals, and best practices

Strong communication skills and ability to build trust across all levels

Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment

Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Preferred Experience

Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or long-term care environments

Familiarity with Paycom HRIS platform

Experience supporting benefits administration and leave processes
