Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods and services, ensuring efficient inventory control, and optimizing logistics processes. This position requires a strong understanding of e-commerce logistics, warehouse management, and category management to support our operational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee the logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure product availability and minimize excess stock.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to negotiate contracts and manage relationships for optimal service delivery.
  • Utilize data analysis tools such as Tableau to monitor logistics performance metrics and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Manage the flow of goods from suppliers to customers, ensuring timely delivery while maintaining quality standards.
  • Support e-commerce initiatives by optimizing order fulfillment processes and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse operations to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in category management efforts by analyzing sales data to inform purchasing decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of e-commerce operations and inventory control practices.
  • Familiarity with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) regulations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Tableau for reporting and decision-making purposes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience in warehouse management systems is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
