NVOCC OPERATIONS MANAGER

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage sea freight / NVOCC operations (imports, exports, consolidation).
• Lead a team: import/export staff, nomination, transshipment teams, etc.
• Maintain relationships with shippers, agents, feeders, etc.
• Handle shipping claims, negotiate contracts with carriers and warehouses.
• Ensure regulatory compliance — shipping regulations, customs, dangerous goods if relevant.

• Use shipping / logistics software (e.g. Sysfreight or other freight management systems).
• Monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and improve quality, efficiency.

Qualifications / Experience

• Several years of experience in NVOCC operations. For example, one role asked for minimum 2 years NVOCC experience.
• Degree in Supply Chain, Maritime, Logistics, or similar discipline is often required.
• Strong computer skills (shipping software, Microsoft Office).
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership and people management experience.
• Regional experience (Middle East / Africa) is sometimes preferred.
• Good communications skills in English.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
