Level: O Level (Cambridge International Examinations – IGCSE/CAIE)

Location: Suffah Saviour Schoo Boys Campus, Gulshan Block 6

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Teacher to deliver the Cambridge O Level Physics syllabus effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in Physics, excellent subject knowledge, and at least 5 years of proven experience teaching O Level students, particularly those preparing for their final examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach and plan lessons aligned with the Cambridge O Level Physics syllabus (5054).
• Prepare students thoroughly for CAIE assessments, including theory, practicals, and past paper practice.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and lab activities to build both conceptual understanding and exam techniques.
• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
• Provide targeted feedback and extra support to underperforming students.
• Maintain discipline and create a stimulating, inclusive classroom environment.
• Guide students on time management, revision strategies, and exam preparation.
• Participate in departmental meetings, workshops, and professional development sessions.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure academic consistency across the science faculty.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Physics / Applied Physics / Science Education (or equivalent).
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Physics or Education.
• At least 5 years of experience teaching O Level Physics (CAIE/IGCSE).
• Demonstrated track record of preparing successful exam batches.
• Strong command of English (spoken & written).
• Familiarity with lab equipment, experiments, and practical exam requirements.

Pay: Rs35,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
