Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Store Clerk to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions accurately while ensuring compliance with company policies.
• Maintain an organized stock area and assist with inventory management.
• Restock shelves and ensure products are displayed attractively to encourage sales.
• Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance regarding product features, promotions, and store policies.
• Answer phone inquiries with professionalism and provide information as needed.
• Supervise junior staff members when required, ensuring adherence to store protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred.
• Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory calculations.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain store appearance.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a busy retail setting.
