Job Summary
****2 YEARS ORTHODONTIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED****

The Dental Assistant/DA/OA/RDA plays a vital role in supporting the dental team by providing efficient chairside assistance, managing patient records, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and medical documentation. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism while assisting with general dentistry and orthodontic treatments.

Duties

  • various orthodontic procedures
  • sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Take dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as 3D scanners and other medical imaging tools; ensure images meet quality standards for diagnosis.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control guidelines and sterilization procedures at all times.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment with familiarity in general dentistry, ORTHODONTICS, or pediatric dentistry settings.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations related to medical records management and patient privacy.
  • Strong understanding of dental terminology,
  • Ability to operate dental equipment such as X-ray machines, 3D scanners confidently.
  • Excellent communication skills combined with a professional demeanor; capable of explaining procedures clearly to patients of all ages including pediatrics.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34.0 per week
