Job Description
We’re looking for dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) who are passionate about supporting the mission and goals of Ridgecrest Regional Hospital, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This role plays an important part in helping patients overcome barriers such as income, language, and cultural or social challenges. You'll be part of a team-based, primary care clinic serving both insured and uninsured individuals.
In this role, you’ll support clinic operations through collaborative planning and problem-solving, ensure the smooth flow of patients during scheduled clinics, and contribute to a culture grounded in RRH’s core values of quality, respect, integrity, partnership, and compassion. You may also be asked to work across departments based on patient and organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver LVN care in a team-based, primary care clinic setting
Assist in efficient patient flow through planning and coordination
Serve insured and uninsured children and/or adults
Provide excellent internal and external customer service
Ensure patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Support care for patients with access barriers
Comply with HIPAA, OSHA, and organizational standards
Collaborative Teamwork
This role involves working closely with the clinic, office, contract, and volunteer staff to support seamless care delivery and contribute to a respectful, efficient, and compassionate environment.
Qualifications
Current LVN licensure to practice in California
One year of medical office experience preferred
BLS certification (required and must be maintained)
Proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking)
Understanding of asepsis and sterilization principles
Familiarity with electronic medical records
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong judgment, maturity, and reliability
Demonstrated Service Excellence skills with patients, families, and coworkers
