Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN)

Duties

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose and treat various gynaecological and obstetric conditions.
• Provide prenatal, antenatal, and postnatal care, ensuring the health and wellbeing of both mother and child.
• Perform medical procedures such as ultrasounds, biopsies, and surgeries as necessary.
• Administer medications and manage treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Engage in clinical research to contribute to advancements in women's health.
• Collaborate with nursing staff in settings such as nursing homes, senior care facilities, hospice care, and home care environments to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

• Medical degree with a valid licence to practice as an Obstetrician/Gynaecologist.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and experience in medical imaging techniques relevant to obstetrics and gynaecology.
• Previous experience in ICU settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated skills in patient care with a focus on empathy and communication.
• Experience in public health initiatives related to women's health is desirable.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $3,700.00 - $3,900.00 per week
