Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality clinical care to patients in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Offer expert consultative services in OB/GYN cases as requested by other departments.
- Supervise and mentor fellows, assistant physicians, and residents in OB/GYN.
- Actively participate in the training and education of residents and fellows within the specialty.
- Engage in research activities related to Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Serve on hospital committees and contribute to administrative functions as required.
- Perform specialized OB/GYN procedures within scope of privileges.
- Comply fully with all hospital and regulatory policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education and Certification: - Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of specialized training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Saudi Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology or American/European Board Certification or equivalent.
- Membership or Fellowship in recognized bodies (e.g., American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, or equivalent).
- Certification recognized by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) is mandatory.
- DataFlow verification completion is required.
Experience: - Minimum of 3-4 years post-board/fellowship experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Registered member of the Saudi Board Council.
Language Skills: - Proficiency in English.
- Arabic language skills are beneficial.
