OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in California

Provide on-call support for an established OB hospitalist team. This is a low-volume, pager-only role with no clinic and no daily rounding. You'll back up on-site employed OB hospitalists and cover GYN needs for ED and inpatients.

Details/Requirements for Assignment 111714:
24-hour beeper call coverage
Average # of callbacks a day: 1 (low volume)
No clinic
Serve as back-up to L&D (assist with cesarean deliveries as needed; approximately 4/month)
Manage routine GYN consults from the ED (hospitalists see routine consults; you're available as needed)
Handle complex GYN consults (e.g., ICU; approximately 3/month)
Take operative GYN cases when required (approximately 3/month)
Provide comprehensive management of routine inpatient GYN issues, including operative intervention when indicated
