Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician

OB/GYN Physician Locums Job in Oregon Daytime Clinic Hours + Call Schedule Blocks In November and December Assignment

Coverage Needed:
One to two weeks per month
November - November (7.5 days)
November - December (7 days)
December - January (10 days)

Shift Description:
Daytime clinic + restricted call coverage
Overnight home call

Requirements:
Must be licensed in Oregon
Board Certified
Active DEA certification
BLS, ACLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring, ALSO certifications
Procedures include:
Shoulder dystocia, post-partum hemorrhage, hypertensive disorders, cord prolapse, external cephalic version, VBAC management, Postpartum care and complications, pap smears, contraceptive management, D&C, basic gynecologic surgeries, hysterectomy, treatment of ectopic pregnancy, emergency GYN surgery and elective robotic cases

Assignment Details:
Inpatient and outpatient
Manage deliveries (routine and high risk, vaginal and C-section), surgical cases, and gynecologic care
Supporting labor and delivery unit and clinic operations
Average deliveries per month: 40
Average number of clinic patients per month: 6-18
Support staff: Experienced OB techs, OR techs, L&D & OR nurses, Midwives and APPs
