Occupational Health Advisor

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in promoting employee health and wellbeing across our client base. You will be required to travel 1-2 days per week to conduct face to face clinics for our clients in and around Glasgow.

This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organisational health initiatives while developing your professional skills within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Health surveillance, pre-employment, Immunizations & fitness-for-work screenings
  • Workplace assessments and case management
  • Advice on physical and mental health
  • Lead health promotion initiatives and support organisational wellbeing programmes.
  • Deliver training sessions or workshops on health topics as required.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and organisational policies.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Registered Nurse with proven experience working as an Occupational Health Advisor
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to travel to client site where required on a weekly basis.
  • Knowledge of current health and safety legislation and best practices.
  • Additional qualifications or training in occupational health is desirable but not essential.
