Position Overview

WCMS is seeking a full-time Occupational Health Nurse (RN) to support on-site health and safety operations at a large manufacturing client facility in Fort Worth, TX (76131).
This role provides comprehensive occupational nursing services — from employee illness and injury care to wellness initiatives and emergency response — while collaborating closely with WCMS leadership and facility management to promote a safe, healthy, and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment and treatment of employee illnesses and injuries.
• Lead or assist in on-site medical emergency response.
• Serve as liaison between the facility, local medical providers, and WCMS.
• Administer medical surveillance exams, fit-for-duty evaluations, and drug/alcohol testing (including DOT).
• Maintain clinic order, documentation, and metrics within HR data systems.
• Support disability case management and return-to-work programs.
• Deliver new-hire orientation, wellness communications, and periodic health campaigns.
• Assist with OSHA compliance, ergonomics, and health promotion efforts.
• Support wellness and safety initiatives, including flu shot clinics and wellness exams (limited travel < 5%).

Qualifications

Required:

• Active Texas RN or Compact License (unrestricted).
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred.
• 3–5 years recent experience in occupational health, emergency, or acute-care nursing.
• CPR certification and strong triage/critical-thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field.
• Familiarity with OSHA, ADA, EHS, ergonomics, and employee-wellness programs.
• Experience working autonomously in a clinic or industrial health setting.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, 40 hours/week – 1st Shift (Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.)
• On-site occupational health clinic within a large industrial facility
• Minimal travel (< 5%) for seasonal wellness initiatives
