Occupational Health Specialist (Part-Time)

Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a dedicated Occupational Health Specialist (Part-Time) to support the health and safety of employees by implementing occupational health programs and ensuring compliance with health regulations. The role focuses on promoting workplace wellness and preventing occupational hazards on a part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-employment and periodic medical examinations for employees.
  • Assess medical fitness for duty and issue related reports.
  • Diagnose and follow up occupational injuries and work-related illnesses.
  • Review employees’ medical history and evaluate chronic conditions in relation to job duties.
  • Participate in workplace risk assessments with HSE teams.
  • Deliver health awareness sessions and occupational health education.
  • Prepare medical reports and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on work-related injuries and return-to-work cases.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in emergency response and incident management.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of medical information.

Requirements
  • Valid SCFHS classification as an Occupational Health Specialist.
  • Previous experience in Occupational Health or Occupational Medicine.
  • Strong communication and medical reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in medical systems and Microsoft Office.
