Currently seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist for a school setting position. This position is part time (23 hours per week) for the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year. Position offers competitive compensation, benefits, paid time off, and a sign-on bonus/relocation assistance package!

Occupational Therapists are responsible for: the assessment and treatment of patients; completing documentation; planning and developing new programs; communicating with patients, patients’ families and physicians and staff; presenting in-services; and assisting in general operation of the department.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Participate as a team member with responsibility for the identification, eligibility, and placement of students.
  • Assist in the development and monitoring of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for assigned students and to meet individual student needs.
  • Participates in staff meetings, planning events, department/special education meetings, manifestation determination meetings, FBA/BIP meetings, and eligibility, evaluation, and placement meetings.
  • Communicate with other professionals providing services for students to insure continuity and coordination of program.
  • Work directly with students to implement IEP goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Must be a graduate of an accredited therapy program (Bachelor Degree required. Masters Degree Preferred)
  • Must possess or be eligible for state licensure
  • Some previous teletherapy and school setting experience preferred but not required

Salary: $40.00- $65.00 an hour.
