Occupational Therapist

About Us

We are a specialized pelvic health private practice in York, PA and Hanover, PA providing individualized, evidence-based care for patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Our clinical approach integrates whole-person reasoning — connecting the pelvic floor to the broader musculoskeletal, visceral, and nervous systems — and emphasizes functional outcomes patient empowerment. We work closely with collaborative referral partners, including providers outside the conventional medical model, to ensure our clients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.

The Role

We're looking for a licensed OT or PT with pelvic health experience (or a strong interest in pursuing specialty training) to join our growing practice on a part time or full time basis. You'll carry your own caseload of pelvic health patients. This is an ideal position for a clinician who values clinical autonomy, complex reasoning, and meaningful patient relationships.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate and treat patients across the spectrum of pelvic floor dysfunction, including pelvic pain, voiding dysfunction, constipation and bowel disorders, postpartum recovery (including diastasis recti and SI joint dysfunction), sexual health concerns, and more
  • Perform internal and external pelvic floor muscle assessment and treatment
  • Develop individualized home exercise programs and patient education materials
  • Write clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with referring providers, including physicians, PAs, and other allied health professionals
  • Contribute to a practice culture rooted in clinical curiosity, patient-centered care, and continuous learning

Preferred:

  • Completion of pelvic floor continuing education (e.g., Herman & Wallace, OT Pioneers, PR-MATT, or equivalent coursework)
  • Experience with internal pelvic floor assessment and treatment
  • Familiarity with central sensitization, pain neuroscience, and psychosomatic symptom frameworks
  • Experience in outpatient or private practice settings
  • Comfort treating patients of all genders
