Independence Rehab is proud to partner with Sunny Ridge Care Center in Nampa. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team!

We are looking for an OT who is passionate about geriatric care, values strong functional outcomes, and wants to be part of a supportive, collaborative, people-first organization.

What You'll Do

Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
Address ADLs, functional mobility, upper extremity strength, cognition, safety awareness, and adaptive equipment needs
Complete evaluations, progress notes, recertifications, and discharge documentation
Collaborate with COTAs and supervise as appropriate
Provide patient and family education related to safety, independence, and home transitions
Work closely with nursing and the interdisciplinary care team
Support coverage needs for fluctuating census and vacation coverage

If you'd like additional support with any competencies, we are happy to provide training and mentorship.

Requirements

Current Idaho Occupational Therapist license in good standing
Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program (OTR required)
Organized, self-starter who enjoys working with the geriatric population

Preferred:
At least one year of experience in a skilled nursing facility. That said - if you are a caring, passionate, licensed OT who loves working with older adults, we would still love to hear from you.
