Ocean Import and Export Specialist/Coordinator

TX USA LLC, a leading international cargo transportation company, has an immediate opening at our America's Regional Office branch located in Washington, D.C. We are seeking an experienced Ocean Air Import and Export Specialist to join our team.

We are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and highly motivated candidate who understands the importance of teamwork and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be reliable, able to meet deadlines, and committed to achieving high standards of performance.

Responsibilities

· Team Management:Working with the Operation Manager in day-to-day Logistics operations.

· Shipment Coordination: Coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics process for shipments.

· Documentation Management: Ensure that all required shipping documentation, including arrival notices and bills of lading are accurate, complete, and submitted on time.

· Freight Release: Ensure payment and bill of lading received and coordinate freight release with freight cashier.

· Cargo Tracking: Monitor and track shipments in real-time to ensure timely movement, delivery, and empty return.

· Customer Communication: Provide regular updates to customers on the status of their shipments and address any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

· Vendor Communication: Coordinate with carriers, truckers, origin agents, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information exchange throughout the import process.

· Invoicing: Generate and issue invoices to customers.

Perform other tasks that contribute to the overall goals of the company.

Qualifications

· Minimum of 3 years of industry experience in ocean export and import operations, preferably with a background in NVOCC or freight forwarding. Experience in air export and import is a plus.

· Analyzing costs and pricing structure for new and existing customers

· Works with the sales teams on collaborative projects

· Works closely with our Worldwide own group network of partners on business opportunities, share market intel to ensure best practice on pricing

· Legal US working status

· Excellent written and verbal knowledge in English.

· Must be proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook)

Pay: $40,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
