Odoo Techno-Functional Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Odoo Techno-Functional Developer who can bridge business requirements with technical implementation. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Odoo development along with a solid understanding of functional business processes to deliver scalable, reliable ERP solutions.

You will work closely with stakeholders to analyze requirements, configure Odoo modules, develop custom features, and support end-to-end ERP implementations.

Key ResponsibilitiesFunctional Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and translate requirements into Odoo functional and technical solutions.
• Configure and customize standard Odoo modules such as Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, HR, CRM, and Manufacturing.
• Conduct functional gap analysis and propose optimal Odoo-based solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications, workflows, and user documentation.
• Provide user training, UAT support, and post-go-live assistance.

Technical Responsibilities

• Develop and customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and JavaScript.
• Design and modify Odoo models, views, reports, workflows, and security rules.
• Integrate Odoo with third-party systems using REST APIs / Web Services.
• Customize QWeb reports and dashboards.
• Debug, optimize, and maintain existing Odoo codebases.
• Ensure performance, security, and scalability of Odoo implementations.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Odoo (v12–v17 preferred).
• Proficiency in Python and Odoo ORM.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Odoo framework, models, views, actions, workflows, and access rights.
• Hands-on experience in both functional configuration and technical development.
• Knowledge of business processes: Finance, Inventory, Sales, Procurement, HR, or Manufacturing.
• Experience with Odoo Studio is a plus.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and Git.
• Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in Odoo.sh or cloud/on-premise deployments.
• Prior experience in full ERP implementation cycles.
• Exposure to custom integrations, payment gateways, or third-party APIs.
• Odoo certification(s).
• Experience with multi-company and multi-currency setups.
