Job Title: Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant

Location: Lahore (Near Davis Road)

Work Mode: On-site

Timings: 8-hour morning shift

Employment Type: Full-time

About the Role

Classic Programmers is growing its ERP practice and is looking for an experienced Odoo Techno-Functional Consultant who can bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

This role requires a strong understanding of Odoo functional workflows along with the ability to configure, customize, and support Odoo technically. You will work closely with clients, functional consultants, and developers to deliver scalable ERP solutions for local and international projects.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to gather, analyse, and document business requirements.
• Map business processes and translate them into Odoo functional solutions.
• Configure and implement Odoo core modules including Sales, CRM, Inventory, Accounting, HR, and Manufacturing (MRP).
• Prepare functional documents such as FRDs, process flows, and user manuals.
• Conduct UAT, system testing, and client training.
• Provide post-go-live functional support and process optimization.

Technical Responsibilities

• Customize Odoo modules using Python, XML, and Odoo framework.
• Develop and modify reports, workflows, views, and access rights.
• Handle integrations with third-party systems (APIs, payment gateways, etc.).
• Debug issues, analyse logs, and resolve functional/technical problems.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure clean, scalable customizations.
• Support Odoo version upgrades and module enhancements.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of hands-on experience in Odoo ERP with a techno-functional role.
• Strong understanding of Odoo business flows and database structure.
• Proficiency in:
• Python
• XML
• PostgreSQL
• Odoo ORM and MVC architecture
• Solid experience with Odoo core modules (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR, MRP).
• Experience in requirement gathering, customization, and deployment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and client interactions.

Nice to Have

• Odoo Functional or Technical Certification.
• Experience with Odoo.sh and cloud deployments.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, third-party integrations, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with international clients.
