Compensation: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour depending on experience

About the Position: Fall Creek Homes is a long-time residential home builder in southeast Idaho and is dedicated to constructing high-quality homes and providing exceptional service to homeowners throughout the area. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented employee to join our office team. This position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company by handling accounts payable and accounts receivable functions using QuickBooks, assisting with office responsibilities and general administrative support, communicating with clients and vendors, and helping coordinate homeowner warranty requests after homes are completed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable in QuickBooks
  • Process invoices, payments, deposits, and reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial and office records
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Respond to emails and assist with general office communications
  • Coordinate and track warranty requests from homeowners after closing
  • Communicate with homeowners, subcontractors, and vendors regarding warranty-related items
  • Organize files and maintain office systems
  • Support management and staff with general administrative duties and special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Familiarity with bookkeeping and basic accounting practices
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office software
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks
  • Prior experience in an administrative or bookkeeping role
  • Experience handling accounts payable and receivable
  • Experience in a professional office environment
