The Erie Construction Council, Inc. is the Erie-area’s premier membership organization representing construction contractors, companies, and individuals in the Commercial, Industrial, and Institutional building construction sector in Northwestern Pennsylvania. Established in 1947, the ECC is dedicated to promoting its members and fostering professional growth within the community. The Erie Construction Council, Inc. seeks an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Office Administrator performs a variety of clerical and administrative duties within the guidelines established by the Board of Directors, promoting the commercial construction industry in Northwest Pennsylvania.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains strong member relations through excellent verbal, written, and electronic communication regarding the organization’s programs, plans, reports, and accomplishments.
  • Communicates effectively with all levels of external and internal personnel, from entry level laborers to executive-level managers and owners.
  • Coordinates and actively participates in Council activities, such as dinners and meetings, community and industry special events, golf, and picnic outings.
  • Represents the organization professionally to members, vendors, and other external contacts, including, but not limited to Board of Directors, membership, legislators, attorneys, auditors, union representatives, the local community, media, architects and engineers, vendors, banks and financial institutions, professional organizations, and regional councils.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum five (5) years’ experience in bookkeeping and basic accounting.
  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Word and Excel

The Office Administrator is a full-time, onsite position, Monday through Friday, 8:30AM – 5:00PM

Pay: $17.50 - $19.50 per hour
