Job Title: Office Administrator

Location: Kodambakkam, Chennai
Employment Type: Full-Time
Industry: Hardware / Building Materials

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily office operations and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Handle customer billing, invoicing, and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Maintain and update stock registers, purchase entries, and vendor records.
  • Coordinate with suppliers for material orders and deliveries.
  • Manage petty cash, expense tracking, and basic accounting support.
  • Attend to customer queries (in person and over the phone).
  • Prepare reports on sales, stock, and expenses for management review.
  • Support owner/manager in administrative and operational tasks.
  • Ensure office cleanliness and proper filing of documents.

Requirements:

  • Education: Minimum 12th Pass / Diploma / Graduate in any discipline.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of experience in office administration or retail operations (hardware or construction industry preferred).
  • Skills:
  • Basic accounting and billing knowledge (Tally or MS Excel preferred).
  • Good communication skills in Tamil and basic English.
  • Computer literacy – MS Office, billing software, email handling.
  • Organizational and multitasking ability.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Saturday: 9:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Sunday: Weekly Off (or as per store policy)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹6,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
