Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to ensure the smooth operation of our office. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a professional demeanor. The Office Administrator will be responsible for various clerical and administrative duties, contributing to our organization's overall success.

Position Structure & Accountability

This position will be hired and employed through the Child Evangelism Fellowship of Missouri, Inc. State Office. The Office Administrator will be based in the Kansas City Chapter office and may also provide administrative support to other chapters within the state, as directed.

The Office Administrator will report directly to the Local Area Director of the Kansas City Chapter for daily oversight, task management, and ministry coordination.

This position is primarily remote, with occasional in-person meetings or ministry-related activities as needed. The expected workload is 32-36 hours per week, with flexible scheduling to accommodate ministry needs while maintaining some availability during normal business hours.

Qualifications:

  • Is born again, has the assurance of salvation, and is willing to give a testimony of his salvation
  • Must sign the Ministry Compliance Agreement
  • Is called to serve in this ministry and is able to explain that calling
  • Believes that children can be saved from sin by coming to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ
  • Demonstrates an active dependence on prayer and is a continual student of the Word of God
  • Demonstrates a generous heart with time, talents, and resources.
  • Is a team player
  • Possesses good written, verbal, and public speaking skills
  • Possesses basic computer and technology skills
  • Is self-motivated and organized
  • Meets the specific qualifications necessary to perform the requirements of the job description
  • Participates in raising ministry support
  • Has a good testimony at home, on the job, and in his neighborhood and local church as reflected
  • by both speech and conduct
  • Is actively involved in a local church
  • Is continually learning to trust the Lord for victory, wisdom, and guidance
  • Submits biblically to authority
  • Lives in the area of ministry

Duties

  • Manage and organize office files, ensuring all reports complete and processed.
  • Provide excellent volunteer support, addressing inquiries and assisting volunteers in a friendly manner.
  • Handle phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating strong phone etiquette.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as data entry, document preparation, and proofreading materials for accuracy.
  • Maintain a CRM database of volunteers and donors.
  • Deposit, record, and process donations.

Skills

  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer literacy, including familiarity with office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate file management.
  • Ability to provide exceptional volunteer support.
  • Knowledge of office management practices and procedures.
  • Strong phone etiquette to communicate professionally with volunteers and donors.
  • Capable of performing clerical duties with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Proficient in administrative tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations.
  • Strong proofreading skills to ensure all documents are error-free.
