Position Overview

Atlantic Analytical Laboratory (AAL), a leader in gas analysis services supporting pharmaceutical, food & beverage, and industrial sectors, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our growing team.

This role is the operational heartbeat of the office—keeping communication flowing, schedules aligned, and administrative processes running with precision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and visitors
  • Manage office communications, correspondence, and document organization
  • Support scheduling, calendar coordination, and meeting logistics
  • Assist with data entry, recordkeeping, and internal documentation
  • Coordinate with internal teams (lab staff, management, and clients)
  • Maintain office supplies and assist with general office operations
  • Support invoicing, basic accounting tasks, and administrative reporting
  • Assist with onboarding documentation and HR-related administrative tasks

Qualifications

  • Previous administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
  • Professional demeanor and strong work ethic

Compensation & Benefits

Starting Salary: $40,000 annually

  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
