Office Administrator

Schmidt Construction is seeking a dependable and organized Office Administrator to keep our day-to-day operations running smoothly. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients and crew, handling incoming calls, coordinating jobs, and supporting the team with administrative tasks.   • Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Assist with job scheduling and coordination to keep projects organized and on track
  • Maintain and update records, files, and documents using Microsoft Office
  • Communicate effectively with clients, crew members, and project managers
  • Assist with preparing estimates, invoices, and other project-related documents
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the office runs efficiently on a daily basis
  • Support leadership with administrative tasks as needed

Experience

  • Prior experience in an office or administrative role is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is a must
  • Experience with job coordination or scheduling in a construction or trade environment is a plus
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Professional, reliable, and a team player
