Office Administrator/Projects Accountant

OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR/PROJECTS ACCOUNTANT

Crider & Crider, Inc. is continuing its growth plan with an opportunity as an Office Administrator/Projects Accountant. As Office Administrator, you will ensure smooth daily business operations by managing clerical tasks, maintaining supplies, and act as the liaison for staff and visitors. As the Projects Accountant, you will support projects through accurate accounts payable management, ensuring invoices, tickets, and vendor documentation are properly processed and coded.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Match tickets to invoices and scan/save to SharePoint.
  • Cost code and review invoices for accuracy.
  • Ensure invoices are routed to the Project Manager for approval.
  • Verify material and trucking costs against quotes or lease agreements.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as needed.
  • Scan new hire documents to off-site Payroll Department.
  • Oversee daily operations of office.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

  • 2+ years of accounting or project accounting experience (road construction industry experience preferred).
  • Familiarity with accounts payable processes and vendor documentation requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (ViewPoint Spectrum preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically with Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Clear and professional communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrates integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial data.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Salary of $55K – $58K, depending on your experience. You will also receive a benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid time off, paid holidays, disability, and life insurance.
