Position Summary:
The Office & HR Manager is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the office and overseeing all human resources functions. This role manages administrative processes, coordinates HR activities such as recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations, while maintaining a positive and organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Office Management
- Oversee day-to-day office operations to ensure a productive and organized work environment.
- Manage Front Desk team. Oversee scheduling and training.
- Manage office equipment, vendor relationships, and facility maintenance (for all locations).
- Coordinate scheduling of manager meetings and company events.
- Support executive leadership with administrative tasks as needed.
- Maintain and improve office policies, procedures, and systems.
- Oversee all safety operations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other state and federal laws.
- Handle all customer relation issues. Investigate and produce responses for any negative reviews.
- Handle all damage issues in customer homes and company vehicles.
Human Resources Management
- Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, training, development, and offboarding.
- Maintain HR records, employee files, and HRIS data accurately and confidentially.
- Administer payroll, benefits and leave programs in compliance with company policy and employment laws.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA, FLSA, EEO).
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support company culture and growth.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations and conflict resolution.
- Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
- Work closely with Marketing Director with employee newsletter announcements.
Finance & Compliance (if applicable)
- Assist with budget preparation, expense reporting, and invoice processing.
- Coordinate with accounting for payroll and benefits reconciliations.
- Ensure company compliance with licensing, insurance, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5+ years of experience in office management and HR management roles required.
- Strong understanding of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suites (Docs and Sheets).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification preferred (not required).

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
