Job Summary
Temple Beth El in West Palm Beach seeks an energetic and self-motivated individual to join our administrative team as our Office and Operations Coordinator.

The Office and Operations Coordinator will be involved with general office operations, communications, and other administrative projects, including oversight of key programs and initiatives related to Temple Beth El’s 100th Anniversary celebration. The Office and Operations Coordinator will also be a “first-line response” for member and visitor inquiries in person, on the phone, and through electronic means.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate event and program logistics, primarily for synagogue’s 100th Anniversary activities
  • Manage database of congregant information (ShulCloud), including entering data and generating reports
  • Manage congregant communications including outbound emails, fliers and weekly newsletter
  • Respond to inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

Additional Important Information:

  • Knowledge of Judaism is not required; previous non-profit or religious institution experience preferred
  • This position requires the ability to comfortably use a keyboard and mouse
  • Must be able to sit in room with compact fluorescent or LED lighting
  • This position reports to the Executive Director

Work Schedule and Compensation:

  • This role can be a Full-Time or Part-Time (minimum 20 hours/week) opportunity, with flexibility for additional hours depending on programming needs and other assignments.
  • Compensation: Commensurate with Experience
