To be considered for this position you must be able to work in our Washington and Eureka locations when needed. Most time will be spent in Washington. You must be able to type accurately and efficiently. You must be available for Saturdays 9-1pm. and Saturdays would be every other weekend. Typically hours are Monday through Friday 9-5pm. The type of sales we do are flooring, cabinets and countertops. We are a custom shop so there is a lot of interior design involved. We are looking for friendly and outgoing people. Duties

  • Greet visitors and clients warmly, providing excellent customer service through professional and friendly interactions
  • Handle front desk responsibilities, including checking in visitors, managing appointments, and maintaining a welcoming reception area
  • Support office management tasks such as filing, data entry, document proofreading.
  • Assist with bookkeeping using QuickBooks to track expenses, invoices, and financial records
  • Maintain accurate records through filing systems and digital databases, ensuring easy retrieval of information
  • Support sales activities by updating customer records, preparing sales reports, and assisting with client correspondence

Requirements

  • Proven office experience with strong clerical and administrative skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace tools
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other bookkeeping software is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Strong computer literacy including data entry, typing accuracy, and internet research skills
  • Previous experience in customer support or personal assistant roles is advantageous
  • Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
