Office and Volunteer Coordinator
This person will be the lead office manager and assist with administrative support, with regular interaction with all those who have contact with Justice for Migrant Families, including staff, volunteers, board members, families and individuals.
In this role, the coordinator will be a public facing person who regularly speaks with community members and assists with short referrals, and schedules for volunteer support and staff. The coordinator will onboard new volunteers and train and connect volunteers to accompany community members. The coordinator will provide language support, either through direct Spanish usage, through providing Spanish interpretation, or by scheduling interpreters.
This position requires in person availability, with an occasional remote option. The position is mainly daytime hours, with occasional options for evening or weekend hours. This person will be on call by phone once a week.
Duties will include:
Being present in the office and keeping JFMF organized and responsive
Direct volunteer coordination
Supporting the office structures that keep JFMF engaged with community
Join the JFMF team; work together towards organizational goals
