Office Assistant

Job Overview

Are you a music lover looking for supplemental income? Interested in getting a foot in the door in the piano industry? Portland Piano Company is seeking a motivated office assistant to help keep our showroom operating smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls accurately and courteously
  • Handle data entry tasks using computer literacy skills, including updating records and maintaining filing systems
  • Provide general administrative support including copying, scanning, and faxing documents
  • Create and ensure accuracy of in-store displays and price tags
  • Create and ensure accuracy of online prices and descriptions via our website and various marketing channels.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to perform data entry accurately with high attention to detail and proofreading skills
  • Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
  • Strong computer literacy with proficiency in office software and internet navigation
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and ability to create content
