Office Assistant

Office Assistant Grossi Electric Inc. – Escalon, CA

Full-service electrical contractor serving commercial, industrial, and agricultural clients across California. Specializing in design-build, UL508A panels, automation, and service partnerships.

We’re hiring a reliable Office Assistant to support our team with administrative tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer calls and greet visitors professionally
  • Schedule meetings and assist with project coordination
  • Handle mail, filing, and office supply orders
  • Prepare/edit documents and correspondence
  • Support time tracking, job documentation, and basic job costing
  • Work closely with project managers on active projects
  • Assist with PG&E service applications, upgrades, and utility coordination
  • Help prepare and submit county permitting paperwork for electrical projects and track inspection/approval status
  • Provide general admin support to office and field teams

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (invoicing, job costing)
  • Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude

Qualifications

  • 2+ years office/administrative support experience
  • Prior experience in construction or electrical contracting strongly preferred
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Reliable transportation and punctuality

Preferred

  • Experience with billing, invoicing, or job costing in construction
  • Familiarity with office safety procedures and records management

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
