We’re hiring a reliable Office Assistant to support our team with administrative tasks in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer calls and greet visitors professionally
- Schedule meetings and assist with project coordination
- Handle mail, filing, and office supply orders
- Prepare/edit documents and correspondence
- Support time tracking, job documentation, and basic job costing
- Work closely with project managers on active projects
- Assist with PG&E service applications, upgrades, and utility coordination
- Help prepare and submit county permitting paperwork for electrical projects and track inspection/approval status
- Provide general admin support to office and field teams
Required Skills
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (invoicing, job costing)
- Ability to multitask and maintain confidentiality
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
Qualifications
- 2+ years office/administrative support experience
- Prior experience in construction or electrical contracting strongly preferred
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
Preferred
- Experience with billing, invoicing, or job costing in construction
- Familiarity with office safety procedures and records management
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
