Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support, ensuring smooth office operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role requires strong organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage front desk responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and clients at the front desk, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Manage incoming calls using phone systems, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars.
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
  • Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient office operations.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office for document creation, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Office Assistant or in a similar clerical role is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,) and general computer literacy.
  • Experience as a construction receptionist is a plus but not required.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
