Office Assistant

We are a rapidly expanding wholesale janitorial supply distributor seeking a highly motivated and dependable individual to join our team! This position plays a key role in supporting daily business activities, assisting customers, coordinating with vendors, processing orders, and maintaining organized records.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Order entry and processing
  • Customer service and support
  • Accounts receivable / Accounts payable/ Journal entries /Account reconciliation
  • Purchasing and general office administration
  • Other day-to-day office tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Comfortable working with computers, phones, and interacting with customers
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
  • 1–3 years of experience in an administrative or office support role (experience in distribution, cleaning supplies, or related industry a plus).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office software.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with inventory management or order processing systems is an asset.
