Position Overview

We are looking for an organized, reliable, and motivated Office & Personal Assistant to support our Claims, Inside Sales, and Bookkeeping departments. This is an excellent opportunity for a college student, recent graduate, or motivated self-starter who wants hands-on experience in a real business environment. You will work directly alongside our office team, handling a variety of backend administrative tasks and keeping operations moving efficiently from day to day.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in organizing and tracking insurance claims and supplemental documentation Compile photos, measurements, and supporting materials for active claims filesFollow up with insurance companies, adjusters, and homeowners as directedHelp maintain claim status logs and deadline calendars

Inside Sales Support

Assist with lead entry, follow-up tracking, and CRM data hygiene
Prepare and send customer-facing documents, estimates, and correspondence
Support the sales team with scheduling, callbacks, and administrative coordination
Help pull reports and compile weekly sales activity summaries

Bookkeeping & Finance Support
Assist with accounts payable/receivable data entry and invoice matching
Help reconcile payments, receipts, and vendor records
Organize and file financial documents and project folders
Support the Office Manager with routine bookkeeping tasks as assigned

General Office Duties
Answer phones and direct inquiries professionally
Manage filing systems, both digital and physical
Run errands, handle supply ordering, and assist with office upkeep as needed
Provide general administrative support to leadership and team members

Ideal Candidate

Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a 2- or 4-year college program (business, communications, accounting, or related field a plus — but not required) Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once
Comfortable with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and/or Microsoft Office Strong communication skills — written and verbal
Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to jump in wherever needed
Prior office, administrative, or customer service experience is a bonus, not a requirement

Compensation & Schedule Pay: $14.00 – $17.00 per hour, based on experience and skills

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hrs/week)

Location: In-office, Wake Forest, NC Start: As soon as the right person is found.
