Job Description – Office Assistant

Position: Office Assistant
Department: Academics - Senior Section
Reporting To: Academic Coordinator
Working Hours: Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: Lyari

Job Summary

The Office Assistant will provide administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth functioning of office activities. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in day-to-day office operations and administrative tasks.
  • Maintain records, files, and documentation in both physical and digital formats.
  • Prepare letters, reports, meeting minutes, and other official documents.
  • Coordinate with departments for operational requirements and follow-ups.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence.
  • Assist in scheduling meetings, appointments, and events.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and report replenishment needs.
  • Support data entry, record keeping, and database management.
  • Handle photocopying, scanning, filing, and document archiving.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Karachi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
