Office Assistant

About Us

We are a growing wholesale bakery serving retail and food service customers throughout the region. We are seeking a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our daily office operations and provide excellent customer service.

Position Summary

The Office Assistant will be responsible for customer order processing, data entry, phone support, filing, and general office administration. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working independently, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers professionally
  • Process customer orders received by phone, email, and online platforms
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain customer records
  • Organize and maintain filing systems for invoices, purchase orders, and other documents
  • Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable tasks
  • Prepare and maintain office paperwork and reports
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve routine issues
  • Coordinate office communications and administrative tasks
  • Maintain an organized and efficient office environment
  • Support management with various administrative projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous office, administrative, customer service, or bookkeeping experience preferred
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and work independently
  • Professional and positive attitude

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
