Office Assistant
Duties:
- Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing documents.
- Assist with event planning and coordination, including scheduling meetings, booking venues, and arranging catering.
- Provide receptionist duties such as answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and directing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary.
- Transcribe meeting minutes and other documents as needed.
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents for accuracy and clarity.
- Support project coordination by organizing files, tracking progress, and communicating updates to team members.
- Act as a personal assistant to the office manager or executive staff as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an office or administrative role is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus.
We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. This is a part-time position that can be upgraded to full-time with regular office hours from Monday to Friday.
