Office Assistant and Therapy Aide

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized, warm, and proactive individual to join our team as an Office Assistant & Therapy Aide. This unique dual-role position supports both administrative operations and direct therapeutic services for children and adults. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, demonstrates strong multitasking abilities, and is attentive to both client experience and safety.

Hours may fluctuate depending on the needs of the clinic. Afternoon/evenings and Saturday availability is a must!

Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Support:

  • Manage scheduling, phone calls, and client communication
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems
  • Support intake processes and coordinate appointments
  • Photocopying and laminating materials for therapists
  • Ensure the office environment is welcoming, clean, and organized

Therapy Aide Support:

  • Assist therapists during sessions with children and adults as directed
  • Prepare and clean therapy materials and spaces between sessions
  • Support client transitions to and from sessions
  • Run open gym and wellness programs with the support of staff
  • Observe and proactively identify potential safety hazards in the environment

Qualifications:

  • Strong multitasking and time management skills in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Warm, welcoming demeanor with clients of all ages
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to anticipate needs and problem-solve proactively
  • Awareness of safety considerations, especially in environments with children
  • Experience in healthcare, therapy, education, or related field preferred (not required)
