Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Office Assistant / Inside Sales Assistant to join our team. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to support daily office operations, manage administrative tasks, and assist with inside sales efforts. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and possess excellent communication skills to ensure smooth office functions and exceptional customer support.

Duties

  • Handle incoming calls, direct inquiries, and provide accurate information using phone etiquette.
  • Manage office management tasks including filing, data entry, proofreading, and maintaining organized records.
  • Support inside sales activities by assisting with customer inquiries, follow-ups, and lead tracking.
  • Utilize computer skills in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, Paychex, and other software to prepare documents, reports, and correspondence.
  • Assist with calendar management and scheduling appointments or meetings for team members.
  • Provide clerical support such as copying, scanning, filing documents, and supporting administrative projects as needed.
  • Assist with scheduling of staff and onboarding new staff.

Qualifications

  • Proven office experience with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in computer literacy including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), and basic data entry skills.
  • Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills; bilingual ability is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in reception roles such as dental or medical receptionist is advantageous.
  • Strong typing skills with high accuracy; ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of office management procedures including filing systems, calendar management, and clerical support.
  • Personal assistant or administrative experience that demonstrates reliability and proactive problem-solving. Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
