Office Assistant / Secretary for Logistics Company

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Office Assistant / Secretary to join our logistics company. This person will help with a little bit of everything in the office and must be comfortable handling different tasks throughout the day.

This is a great position for someone who is responsible, good with communication, and able to stay on top of office work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • Basic QuickBooks work
  • Accounts receivable follow-up and calling customers for payments
  • Answering and responding to emails
  • Handling basic USDOT / trucking paperwork and office tasks
  • Answering phone calls and helping with general office support
  • Assisting with scheduling, filing, and other administrative duties
  • Helping keep the office organized and running smoothly

Requirements:

  • Prior office or administrative experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of QuickBooks if you don't have we'll teach you
  • Good communication and phone skills
  • Organized, dependable, and able to multitask
  • Comfortable working in a logistics / transportation environment
  • Basic computer and email skills required
  • Experience with trucking, logistics, dispatch, or USDOT paperwork is a plus (if you don't know how we'll teach you)

Someone who is sharp, responsible, and willing to help with whatever is needed in the office. This is not just one specific task — we need someone flexible who can handle a little bit of everything and be part of the team.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
