Office Assistant/Bookkeeper

Job Description

Business Services of Spokane LLC is looking for a Assistant Bookkeeper to join our team. This position will be responsible for assisting with the daily dada entry and reconciliations of our clients' accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payroll and QuickBooks online, be able to multi-task, and be able to work independently.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare payroll for WA and ID employees.
  • Prepare quarterly payroll filings.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and anual sales tax filings for both WA and ID
  • Assist with month-end reconciliations of the clients' bank accounts, loans and credit card account.
  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Schedule appointments.
  • Cover front desk breaks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and QuickBooks Online.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, both in person and on the phone.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy is critical for this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
