Office Assistant/Bookkeeper

Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This vital role combines administrative support with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong organizational skills, and be able to wear multiple tasks all at once at any given time. Duties

  • Manage daily office operations, including answering phones, waiting on customers, and maintaining office supplies
  • Payment to loggers for logs and the ability to effectively communicate with loggers to make sure they understand the supporting documentation for payments
  • Perform light bookkeeping duties using Sage (willing to train the right candidate)
  • Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
  • General understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and financial concepts
  • Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
