Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Assistant/Bookkeeper to join our team. This vital role combines administrative support with comprehensive bookkeeping responsibilities, ensuring smooth office operations and accurate financial management. Duties
- Manage daily office operations, including answering phones, waiting on customers, and maintaining office supplies
- Payment to loggers for logs and the ability to effectively communicate with loggers to make sure they understand the supporting documentation for payments
- Perform light bookkeeping duties using Sage (willing to train the right candidate)
- Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage
- General understanding of accounting principles including double entry bookkeeping, debits & credits, journal entries, and financial concepts
- Ability to perform 10 key typing efficiently for data entry tasks
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
