We are looking for a Office Civil Technical Engineer who will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating technical drawings and documents for civil and landscape projects. The role is office-based and focuses on supporting site teams with design, documentation, and technical clarifications to ensure smooth project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and update structural and civil shop drawings, technical documents, and construction details.
- Assist in design verification, structural analysis, and load calculations to ensure compliance with engineering standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and site engineers to resolve technical issues and design conflicts.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and technical specifications.
- Provide technical support to project managers and site teams during all phases of construction.
- Ensure that all engineering works comply with international codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), cost estimates, and technical reports for management and client review.
- Support in project planning, scheduling, and monitoring progress against targets.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including as-built drawings, inspection records, and progress reports.
- Conduct regular technical evaluations and risk assessments for ongoing structural and civil works.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
- Professional certification (e.g., Engineer’s License, Chartered Engineer, or equivalent) is an advantage.
- Proven experience (3–7 years preferred) as a Technical Engineer, Site Engineer, or similar role in civil/structural projects.
- Professional Engineer license/registration (advantage, depending on country regulations).
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, ETABS, Revit, SAP2000, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of international building codes and standards (BS, ACI, AISC, Eurocodes, etc.).
- Strong background in structural and civil works (concrete, steel, foundations, formwork, reinforcement, etc.).
- Ability to identify engineering problems and propose effective solutions.
- Skilled in liaising with multidisciplinary teams.
- Advanced use of AutoCAD, MS Office, and structural analysis software.
- Ability to prepare detailed technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Capable of handling multiple projects and meeting deadlines.
- Valid UAE Driving License
