What You Will Be Doing
- Front office & visitor experience: Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors and callers, delivering a professional, welcoming front desk experience and managing phone screening and messaging.
- Office operations & facilities coordination: Coordinate mail, shipping, deliveries, parking, building access, security procedures, and facilities services, including maintenance and repairs for the Portland office.
- Office environment & vendor management: Oversee daily operations of the Portland office and shared spaces, including supplies, ordering, vendor relationships, kitchens, and conference rooms.
- Leadership & supervision: Lead the Office Coordinator group across locations, support operational and safety alignment, coordinate quarterly meetings, and supervise high school interns through training and feedback.
- Administrative systems & cross functional support: Maintain and improve digital tools and resources (SharePoint, communication channels, ticketing systems, business workflows) and provide administrative support to HR, Travel/Events, and HelpDesk.
- Events, safety & sustainability: Coordinate internal meetings and events (calendars, rooms, catering, remote locations), document Safety Committee actions, and support Green Team operations.
This is a full-time, non-exempt (hourly) position located in Portland, Oregon. The responsibilities of this position will require being in the office 4 days per week. Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.

Applicants for this role are required to have:- High school diploma (required); Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred, or demonstrated equivalent work experience
- At least four years of experience in a service-oriented or operations-facing role in a professional environment — one where you were juggling competing priorities, supporting people at different levels, and owning outcomes, not just tasks
- Demonstrates proactive and independent work habits while actively contributing to team goals
- Experience working effectively across all levels of an organization, from interns to senior leadership
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, organizing diverse timelines and responding effectively to shifting urgency levels
- AI tool experience (preferred) some hands-on familiarity with AI tools in a work or personal context; curiosity and openness matter more than expertise
Compensation & Benefits
The full salary range for this full-time non-exempt role in Portland, Oregon is $59,115 - $73,920 - $88,725. Cascade is committed to transparency and equity, and offers are thoughtfully determined based on factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and internal equity to ensure fairness, consistency, and integrity in every decision.
